PM Narendra Modi is on Nepal (PM Narendra Modi in Nepal) tour. Modi reached Lumbini on Monday morning by an Air Force helicopter. On reaching Lumbini, Nepal's Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba gave him a warm welcome. Modi first visited the Mahamaya Devi temple in Lumbini. He worshiped at Maya Devi temple. During this, PM Deuba was also with him.

PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of the Center for Buddhist Culture and Heritage. The Prime Minister will also address the Buddha Jayanti program organized by the Lumbini Development Trust under the aegis of the Government of Nepal, a press release said. Thousands of people will attend the program.
