PM Modi conduct 8th meeting on the Ukraine issue

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held a high-level meeting on the Russia-Ukraine crisis. The progress of Operation Ganga was reviewed in the meeting. The evacuation of Indians from Ukraine and the situation there was also discussed. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Union Minister Piyush Goyal and NSA Ajit Doval were also present in the meeting.

This is the 8th meeting of the PM for the safe evacuation of Indians from Ukraine. Earlier on Wednesday, the Prime Minister had called a high level meeting. The government has also deployed special envoys in 4 countries bordering Ukraine for the speedy evacuation of Indian citizens.
