PM Internship Eligibility Criteria
- Any Indian youth who is unemployed and aged between 21 to 24 years is open to apply for the Prime Minister Internship program. Online and distance learners are exempt from some rules.
- The candidate's family income should be less than Rs 8 lakh a year and must not be a government job holder.
- Candidates who wish to register for the PM Internship Scheme should hold any professional degrees (CA, CS, MBA, etc.) and should not graduate from a prestigious institution.
- Candidates who are participants in the government programs are not eligible to apply for the internship program.

Candidates who have registered themselves and got selected as interns by companies for a specific role will get a monthly payment of Rs 5,000. As per the reports, the central government adds Rs 4,500 and companies add Rs 500 from their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds. Selected candidates will also get a one-time grant of Rs 6,000.
