PM Convoy stucks at Punjab Flyover for half an hour due to major security lapse
The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi remained stuck at Punjab Flyover for approximately half an hour. Our sources have revealed that on the flyover, there were some protestors who were advancing while the PM was was travelling by road from Bathinda to National Martyrs Memorial in Hussainiwala.

Mr Modi could not address his rally in Punjab owing to this incident.
The Home Ministry has described it as a major lapse. PM could not attend the martyrs memorial for which he was going to Punjab. The Central Government has asked the Punjab Government to look into the matter and take responsibilities as to how did this happen. Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju criticised the Congress over the breach in Prime Minister's security in Punjab. He termed it a vicious act and stated that he never ever thought that any party could stoop this low.
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the Congress-led Punjab government should take responsibility for the security breach during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Punjab. He demanded an apology from the Congress party. He also slammed the Congress Party and said that they have portrayed that Law and order is a joke under their regime.
