Pfizer has submitted research to the U.S food and drug administration of its vaccine in children but the shots may not be available before November.
Pfizer has submitted research to the U.S food and drug administration on the effectiveness of its vaccine in children but the shots may not be available before November. The company said it gave health regulators data from a study of its vaccine in children from 5 to 11 years. Officials declared them they would file an application with the FDA to authorize the use in the coming weeks.
Once the company files its application, US regulators and public health officials will review the evidence and consult with advisory committees in public meetings to make sure if the shots are safe and effective to use.
