Omicron variant has been found in two people in Singapore. Surprisingly, both of them have got a booster dose of corona. After this, questions are being raised about the safety of the booster dose. The first case is of a 24-year-old woman who works in the passenger service at the airport. This woman has been found to be Omicron positive in the initial test. The Health Ministry said on Thursday that this is Omicron's first local case in the city.
The second case is of foreign infection. This person had returned from Germany on 6 December and had also received a booster dose. Pfizer and BioNTech said earlier this week that preliminary lab results suggest that a third coronavirus vaccine may be successful in eliminating Omicron.
