Former Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, lodged in Patiala Central Jail, fainted on Thursday. He had fainted in the afternoon, after which he was admitted to the jail hospital. After this he was given treatment at Rajindra Hospital. Navjot Singh Sidhu's blood pressure had gone down and the blood pressure became so low that he fell unconscious.
After this, the employees standing outside the jail barrack took him to the hospital. On the other hand, Navjot Singh Sidhu has filed an application in the court regarding the production in Ludhiana, demanding to be presented through video conferencing. He has cited the letter that due to the incidents of Sidhu Moosewala murder case and the incidents of bomb blasts in the court, he is facing threat to his life.
