National shooter Konika's father said - was a courageous girl, could not commit suicide

National shooter Konika Layak, a resident of Dhanbad city of Jharkhand, has reportedly died of suicide. She was taking training at the Shooting Academy in Kolkata. On December 15, Konika's body was allegedly found hanging from her hostel room.

His family and close ones are in shock due to Konika's death. Relatives say that Konika cannot die by suicide. The family has told some conspiracy behind this and has demanded the administration to investigate the matter.

Konika's father Partha Pratim Layak said that She was going to come home soon. He said, "I had a talk with her the day before, it was normal. She said that she is preparing to come home. Then the news of her death came. There must be some conspiracy behind it. She cannot take such a step."

A relative of Konika, Sarita said that she was a girl who fought against all odds, she herself could not take such a step. He said, "She has been killed. She was very happy. Was shopping for the wedding, maybe no one liked her going ahead. That's why she was murdered."
