Narendra Modi reached Kedarnath for the sixth time after becoming PM, talked to the workers engaged in development projects
During his two-and-a-half-hour program, the Prime Minister also visited the Samadhi Sthal of Adiguru Shankaracharya. Apart from this, he will inspect Modi Mandakini Aastha Path and Saraswati Aastha Path in Kedarnath and review the progress of development works going on there.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Kedarnath and Badrinath today (Friday, 21 October). In addition to inspecting the various development works going on there, he will also lay the foundation stone of some new projects. In view of this, security arrangements have been tightened in Kedarnath-Badrinath. Security personnel have been deployed everywhere in both the dhams. This is the sixth Kedarnath Dham Yatra of Narendra Modi after becoming the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister reached Kedarnath before 8 in the morning by helicopter and offered prayers to Baba Kedarnath. After this, he laid the foundation stone of the 9.7 km long Gaurikund-Kedarnath Ropeway project. The pilgrimage priests of both the dhams and the devotees present there are also excited about the two-day program of the Prime Minister. Both Kedarnath and Badrinath temples are decorated with many quintals of flowers.
PM Modi also spoke openly with the working people working in development projects in Kedarnath. He asked them about their native states, benefits of government's welfare schemes and also inquired about their COVID vaccination status.
