Mukhtar Ansari's son Abbas Ansari has a long history of controversies. Abbas Ansari was accused of making provocative speeches and misleading the public during the 2022 assembly elections. An FIR was registered against Abbas Ansari in this case. Abbas Ansari had filed a petition to quash this FIR. After the dismissal of this petition in the court, now the sword of arrest was hanging on Abbas Ansari.
