Mukhtar Ansari's son Abbas sent on 7-day ED remand

The problems of Abbas Ansari, MLA from Mau Sadar and son of Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari, have increased. He has been sent on 7 days ED remand. This remand will start from today evening. Let us inform that Abbas Ansari, the son of Purvanchal mafia don Mukhtar Ansari and Subhasp MLA Abbas Ansari, was recently questioned at the ED office of Prayagraj.

The ED had questioned Abbas for 9 hours, then arrested him. During this, a large amount of police force was deployed outside the ED office. Apart from Abbas, the ED had also questioned his driver Ravi Kumar Sharma, a resident of Karanda Ghazipur. The ED had asked Abbas questions about the money laundering case involving Mukhtar and recorded his statement.

On October 11, the ED had issued a look out notice against MLA Abbas in the money laundering case. After this, when his interrogation started, it continued from 2 pm on Friday till late night. Due to the questioning of Abbas, there was a lot of ruckus in the ED office as well. All the supporters of Mukhtar kept roaming around.

Mukhtar Ansari's son Abbas Ansari has a long history of controversies. Abbas Ansari was accused of making provocative speeches and misleading the public during the 2022 assembly elections. An FIR was registered against Abbas Ansari in this case. Abbas Ansari had filed a petition to quash this FIR. After the dismissal of this petition in the court, now the sword of arrest was hanging on Abbas Ansari.
