The fall of Meta’s stock has surprised everyone in the tech landscape in the world. The stocks have fallen 26 per cent and this has wiped out over $200 billion in a single day of trading which is unprecedented and the biggest ever. This is for the first time that any US company has suffered such a huge loss in a single day of trading.
According to reports, the Single day decline in the wealth of Zuckerberg is among the biggest ever. Earlier Elon Musk, who is Tesla Inc top boss, had suffered a loss of $35 billion in a single-day paper loss in November.
Since July 2020, this is the lowest that this stock has touched. According to Forbes, Zuckerberg’s net worth has fallen down to $85 billion. Now on Forbe’s list of real-time billionaires, Zuckerberg has gone to 12th spot which is below India business biggies Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani.
Reliance chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani’s net worth stands at $89.6 billion. Even Adani group chairperson Gautam Adani and his family show a net wealth of $90.4 billion on the Forbes list.
