MPPEB Excise Constable Application: Application date and age limit extended for 200 Excise constable recruitment in Madhya Pradesh

Job news for the aspirants of government jobs in the Excise Department of Madhya Pradesh Government. The application process for the recruitment of 200 constable posts in MP Excise Department lasted from 10 to 24 December. However, Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPPEB), Bhopal has recently extended the last date of application by issuing a new notice. According to the update of the Board, candidates interested in Madhya Pradesh Excise Constable Recruitment can now apply till December 29. Also, if any correction or amendment is required in the application of the candidates who have applied with the prescribed fee till the new last date, they will be able to do so by December 31.

Candidates should note that MPPEB has extended the application date for Excise Constable Recruitment as well as changed the eligibility criteria regarding age limit. According to the update of the board, now candidates up to a maximum of 36 years will be able to apply for the posts of MP Excise Constable. Earlier the maximum age limit was 33 years. On the other hand, the minimum age limit is 21 years. On the other hand, the maximum age limit for female candidates is already 38 years. In addition, the upper age limit will be relaxed for the domicile of MP and candidates belonging to various reserved categories as per the rules of the state government, for more details see notification.

Candidates willing to apply for Madhya Pradesh Excise Constable posts must have passed minimum 10+2 examination from a recognized board. However, candidates having valid equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply. Notification for constable recruitment in Madhya Pradesh Excise Department was issued by MPPEB on 16 November 2022. Under the prescribed selection process for these posts, the examination in the first phase will be held from 20 February 2023.
