More than three crore permanent homes constructed , signifies Women Empowerment , says PM Modi

The Modi government has made a big achievement in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The central government has constructed more than three crore permanent houses under the PM Awas Yojana. PM Narendra Modi himself has given this information. Modi has told about this achievement of the central government in a tweet on a Friday morning. The PM has called it a symbol of "Women empowerment".

Modi tweeted and said, 'We have set an important stage in our resolve to provide pucca house to every poor of the country. The construction of more than three crore houses has been possible only with the participation of the people. These houses equipped with basic facilities have also become a symbol of women empowerment today.

Under PM Awas Yojana (Gramin), 2.52 crore pucca houses for the poor have been completed so far. For this an assistance amount of Rs 1.95 lakh crore has been released by the central government. In this scheme, each beneficiary has also been given the facility of LPG connection under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
