According to the ministry, the daily positivity rate has been recorded at 2.71 percent. While the weekly positivity rate has also reached 2.02 percent. At the same time, the number of people recovering from the disease increased to 4,26,52,743, while the death rate was 1.21 percent. With this, a total of more than 195.07 crore corona vaccine doses have been administered so far under the ongoing corona vaccination campaign in the country.

According to the data of the Ministry of Health, a huge increase in the cases of corona was also registered in the national capital Delhi on the previous day. 795 new cases of corona were found in Delhi while 2,922 new cases of corona were registered in Maharashtra on Saturday. On Friday, 3,081 new cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra, which was the highest number of cases in the last four months.
