Militant associated with killing of 2 Bihar Labourers Killed in a Jammu and Kashmir Shootout
As per the reports of the Police, the slain terrorist was about to target a local shopkeeper in Baramulla. This incident epitomises the militants and terrorists dominance in the Jammu and Kashmir area and that there needs to be stringent steps for eradicating this dominance.
According to the Police, one militant associated with the killing of Bihar labourers was killed in a brief shootout in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. As per a police spokesperson, initially the militants fired upon an area which was being patrolled by the Army and Police at Cherdari in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. AS per the Police Spokesperson, a pistol, magazine and one hand grenade were also found on the millitant's body.
As per the statements of Inspector General of Police of Kashmir Vijay Kumar, 'the slain militant was a hybrid type'. The millitant was later identified as Javed Ah Wani of Kulgam district. Reportedly the killed millitant (Wani) had assisted terrorist Gulzar (who was killed on October 20) in killing two labourers from Bihar at Wanpoh earlier this month.
