Mallikarjun Kharge reached Himachal Pradesh on his first election campaign after becoming Congress President

Mallikarjun Kharge reached Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday for his first election campaign after assuming the responsibility of Congress President. On reaching Himachal Pradesh, he held a meeting with senior party leaders, in which Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was also present.

Sources say that the strategy related to the assembly elections was discussed in this meeting. Kharge will address election meetings at Banooti in Shimla and Panjhera in Nalagarh on Wednesday.
