Mail threatening to blow up Indigo flight with bombs, security agencies on alert

Security agencies have been alerted after receiving an e-mail about a bomb being planted on IndiGo flight number 6E-6045 at Mumbai airport on Saturday night. This flight was going to go from Mumbai to Ahmedabad at night. During the investigation, nothing was found in the flight, after which the flight was delayed in the night. Now the Mumbai Police is investigating who sent this e-mail and why.

The plane took off for Kuala Lumpur after a delay of 2 hours 40 minutes and the four passengers involved in the incident were handed over to the local police. An argument broke out between two passengers over keeping bags in the overhead cabin of the plane. When one passenger asked the other what was in his bag, the other replied 'bomb'. The flight was called off after the pilot was informed about it. After this the pilot informed the ATC (Air Traffic Controller) about the incident.
