Maharashtra: Robert Vadra lauds 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', compares Rahul Gandhi to Saibaba
On 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', he said, "Rahul Gandhi is going to many places and meeting thousands of people. These people are joining him in large numbers. Change will come in the future because Rahul Gandhi is a new hope for the people."
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's brother-in-law and businessman Robert Vadra on Sunday said that Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' will see a change in the country as thousands of people are joining it. Vadra, who came to Shirdi town in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district to offer prayers at the famous Saibaba temple, also said that Rahul Gandhi's thinking is similar to that of a spiritual leader (Saibaba), who preached unity, though he did not elaborate.
On 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', he said, "Rahul Gandhi is going to many places and meeting thousands of people. These people are joining him in large numbers. Change will come in the future because Rahul Gandhi is a new hope for the people." The government (led by the Bharatiya Janata Party at the Centre) will talk about our failures. They will make fun of the party (Congress), but Rahul, Priyanka (Gandhi Vadra) will not stop. We are and will be among the people. He said that we will work unitedly for them. The Gandhi family was getting immense love from the people.
He said that the newly elected Congress President (Mallikarjun Kharge) would try to help the people. Warning those thinking of leaving the old party, he said, "Those who want to leave may go, but those who remain will understand the sacrifice of Sonia Gandhi and the efforts of Rahul and Priyanka."
Expressing happiness over being able to worship in the temple, Vadra said that Saibaba has given a message of unity. "Currently our country is facing a lot of crisis.
