Union Civil Aviation Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia, on Friday, reported that a flight instructor died and a trainee was injured in a helicopter crash in Maharashtra's Jalgaon. He stated that the aircraft belongs to the NMIMS Academy of Aviation in Maharashtra. Further, an investigating team is being dispatched to the scene.
Scindia took to Twitter and wrote, "I was shocked to learn of the unfortunate crash of a training aircraft belonging to the NMIMS Academy of Aviation in Maharashtra. An investigation team is being dispatched to the scene."
Expressing condolences, a senior BJP leader wrote: "Unfortunately, we lost the flight instructor, and the trainee was seriously hurt. My sincere sympathies to the departed family and hopes for trainee's speedy recovery."
