Shinde faction will be given eight cabinet ministerial posts, while preparations are on to make five MLAs ministers of state.
The farewell of the 31-month-old Uddhav Thackeray-led Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra appears to be getting closer. The decision of the Supreme Court has created enthusiasm in the BJP and the rebel camp. According to reports, a new government may be formed soon in the state under the leadership of Devendra Fadnavis. Apart from BJP, ministers of the Shinde faction will naturally be involved in this.
There has almost been an agreement between the rebel Shinde faction of BJP and Shiv Sena for the formation of a new government in Maharashtra. It has been said in the media report that former CM and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has left for Delhi with the list of names of ministers. He will finalize it by meeting top BJP leaders there. The sources further revealed that the new government under the leadership of Devendra Fadnavis will have 29 BJP ministers and 13 from the Eknath Shinde faction.
Eknath Shinde, Dada Bhuse, Abdul Sattar, Deepak Kesarkar, Gulabrao Patil, Rajendra Patil, Bacchu Kadu, Sandipan Bhumre, Prakash Abidkar, Uday Samant, Sanjay Ramulkar, Shambhuraj Desai and Sanjay Shirsat. Of these, Shinde, Uday Samant, Dada Bhuse, Gulabrao Patil, and Deepak Kesarkar may become cabinet ministers. According to sources, the demand for the post of Deputy CM is being made by the Shinde faction. However, this has not yet been agreed upon. Further development is still awaited.
