Madhya Pradesh: Bus going for PM's program overturns, 16 injured

16 people, including 14 women, were injured when a bus overturned in Madhya Pradesh's Sheopur district on Saturday. At the time of the accident, these people were going to attend a conference of women self-help groups organized in Karahal town of Sheopur district, which was to be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Inspector Mamta Gurjar of Bargawan police station said that the injured have been admitted to the district hospital, where their condition is stated to be out of danger.

This bus going from Morena district to Karahal overturned near Hanuman temple, about 45 km from the district headquarters, due to the driver losing control of the vehicle.
