The Moon looks ever so slightly bigger and brighter than the average full moon, though in practice it's tough to tell the difference. The September full moon is often called the harvest moon, due to its association with harvest time in the Northern Hemisphere," NASA described about last lunar eclipse of the year.

The eclipse will be observed in Europe, most of Asia, Africa, North America, and South America. According to astrologers, the eclipse from 6.12 am to 10.17 am lunar eclipse will be observed in India and will peak at 8.14 am. When many Indians will observe Sutak Kaal because of the religious beliefs of many Indians during which no auspicious work will be done.
Lunar eclipses occur at the full moon phase. When Earth is positioned precisely between the Moon and the Sun, Earth’s shadow falls upon the surface of the Moon, dimming it and sometimes turning the lunar surface a striking red over the course of a few hours. Each lunar eclipse is visible from half of Earth. The second lunar eclipse falls on September 18, 2024.

- It is advisable to Chant various Mantras specifically about Moon and Sun.

Sutak Kaal Don't's
- Don't go out of your house it is advisable to stay in your house during the eclipse.
- Don't begin something important as it may be believed it ashubh during that hour.
- Cooking and eating are highly unadvisable during this time eclipse is covered with basil leaves to block the negative energy.
- It is discouraged to sleep during this time, especially for pregnant and elderly women
