LSG vs GT Live Score, IPL 2025: Shubman Gill, captain of the Gujarat Titans (GT), won the toss and chose to bowl first against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Ahmedabad.

“Leading into the playoffs, we want momentum on our side,” GT captain Shubman Gill said. “For that, these two games are very important.”

GT did not change their playing XI. If they win tonight, they will put themselves in a strong position to secure one of the top two spots.

“We would have also bowled first,” LSG captain Rishabh Pant said. “We know where we stand but we will try to pick up things for the next season.”

LSG made several adjustments. To begin, Himmat Singh and Shahbaz Ahmed were in the batting XI. Pant also mentioned Akash Singh joined the side. For now he is one of the Impact Player options and could potentially feature in the second innings.

Digvesh Rathi, who is serving a one-match ban due to five demerit points for overcelebration missed out.

The match is played on a black-soil pitch with a grass cover that is even. It should be a high-scoring pitch. One square boundary is 61 metres, the other is 67. The straight boundary is also longer, it's 70 meters.

Shubman Gill opts to bowl. He added: "Looks like a good wicket. It'll be better to chase a target down. You want momentum getting into the qualifiers, these two games are important. Sudharsan and I complement each other nicely, we have similar games. We just see the ball and keep our intent and scoring. Same team."
