With the beginning of the new month, gas distribution companies have given relief to the consumers. Today, on Monday, August 1, 2022, the prices of LPG cylinders have been reduced. However, this deduction has come only on commercial gas cylinders. According to the website of Indian Oil Corporation, today a commercial gas cylinder has been deducted by Rs 36. Now from today, the price of a 19 kg cylinder in the capital Delhi will be Rs 1,976. The new rates have come into effect from 6 am today.
Before this, a cylinder was being sold for Rs 2,012. The last revision happened on July 6, 2022, when the prices were cut by around Rs 9. Earlier, on July 1, 2022, the commercial cylinder became cheaper by Rs 198 before that its price was Rs 2,022.

However, there has been no change in the price of domestic cylinders today. At the same time, last month it also became costlier by Rs 50 per cylinder. The prices of non-subsidized gas cylinders of 14.2 kg in the country remain the same.
