A few months before, there was a huge outrage among the citizens after the Neet exam results were out because there were allegations on NTA that they leaked paper and gave grace marks to students in allegedly exchange for 50 Lakh per student as it was already obvious that something was going on behind the curtains as 62 students got full marks. Some got marks that were impossible to get due to Neet's marking structure.

At first, NTA denied all the allegations but when the case was taken to the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court favored students and ruled for investigation The NTA head was removed from his position and there were re-exams conducted. Things escalated even further when the CBI joined the case. Panchmahal district police handed over a 1000-page inquiry about crores of money given by students

Investigation Update
The additional director appeared on appeared before the Supreme Court on Tuesday to give updates on the Neet UG Exam case He said that they retrieved a burnt question paper from Hazaribagh and through a unique serial number on the paper they traced the student to whom it belonged she was a female candidate to whom the paper was given before the exam and someone took pictures of it and returned and given back to her during the exam but the envelope she was given paper it was already opened so it's clear that it tampered before reaching the candidate.
Pieces of paper were found in the school of Hazaribagh where 25 candidates got solved question papers, where a copy was given to a student who memorized from it and later burned them. Invigilators and center superintendents were supposed to sign the packet question papers that came in as proof that they were the ones who opened the papers and no tampering was done but they still signed as center superintendents and city coordinators were part of the conspiracy.
