All of them had reached the Mumbai airport between November 10 and December 2.According to a TOI report, 12 suspected patients of the Omicron variant were admitted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital in Delhi on Friday.
Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that samples of 28 Kovid positive people have been sent for genome sequencing. Tope said that the state government will issue revised guidelines for domestic air travel in the next few days amid growing concerns about the new variant of the corona virus 'Omicron'.
He said that the government can soon take a big decision regarding the vaccine in the state. Between November 10 and 30, 2868 passengers have arrived in Mumbai. Out of these, 485 passengers have been screened. 9 people have been found positive. In the next 2 days, the report of the rest of the people will also come.
