Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has termed Rahul Gandhi's chanting of Jai Siyarai as an ideological victory of the BJP. In an informal discussion with reporters at the Circuit House here on Saturday, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the Congress party which used to deny the existence of Lord Ram has to take the name of Shri Ram. Rahul Gandhi has to attend the court of Lord Mahakal wearing a dhoti and wearing Tripund.
Keshav said, there must be someone in the Congress who can explain to Rahul Gandhi the meaning of Shriram and Jai Siyaram. Shri means Mother Sita. Siya also means Mother Sita. On the question regarding the by-election, the Deputy Chief Minister said, Lotus is blooming in Rampur, Khatauli and Mainpuri. On being told that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has talked about contesting elections on the strength of DM and SP, Keshav said, whatever he did, he is seeing the same. BJP does not have goons, criminals and mafia. On bringing 100 MLAs, he termed the proposal to make him Chief Minister as Akhilesh's desperation.
In response to the questions, the Deputy Chief Minister also said that now Shivpal Yadav will be given the accommodation he gets as an MLA. He said, if an MLA runs an office in a government house then it is wrong. Shivpal's minister's bungalow will also be vacant soon. He is election uncle. Neither the horse is far away nor the field. If he is proud of the Jaswantnagar assembly seat, then resign after the election results and try contesting there too, everything will be known.
