Jharkhand News: Talking about tribal interest, JMM targets BJP
Now in the same Jharkhand, the ruling party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has launched a political attack on the BJP and the party is being described as anti-tribal.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is propagating all over the country that it is thinking the most to protect the interests of the tribals. Now almost Draupadi Murmu's name is believed to be fixed as the next President of the country. Earlier she was also the Governor of Jharkhand.
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha General Secretary Vinod Pandey says that the way NDA is trying to show that it is a big supporter of tribal society, then it is just a show. If this was the case, we would have passed the 'Sarna Code' from the assembly here and sent it. But till date the central government has not even considered it, it becomes clear how well you are (of the tribal society). But all these things have nothing to do with the presidential election. Whatever is the right decision, it will be from Guruji's (Shibu Soren's) side.
Political analysts believe that BJP has done far-reaching politics by putting Draupadi Murmu forward. She has built a good image among the tribals as well as among the women. However, there is also news in political circles that JMM may support NDA's presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu. JMM's political activities in recent days are also indicating in this direction, Chief Minister Hemant Soren met Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Monday. Conversation took place between the two leaders regarding the state issue as well as the presidential election.
Given the political situation in the JMM state, there is speculation that Draupadi will go in favor of Murmu. In view of the tribal vote bank, JMM is bound to support Mrs. Murmu. JMM distanced itself from the common opposition candidate Yashwant Sinha. According to the information that JMM MP-MLA did not reach Mr. Sinha's nomination, JMM has conveyed its stand to the Congress.
