Jharkhand Crisis: Hemant Soren's uneasiness due to not sending letter to ECI, challenge to keep MLAs united
This is the reason why a strategy has been adopted to avoid the situation of suspicion by opening a front against the Governor. Now it has to be seen how much effect this will have on the Raj Bhavan. In a sense, it is also the litmus test of the ruling party.
The uneasiness of the ruling party is increasing due to the Jharkhand Raj Bhavan not making the Election Commission's order related to Chief Minister Hemant Soren official. This is the reason behind breaking the silence of four days on Sunday. The ruling party realizes that it is difficult to keep the MLAs united for long. The reason behind this is also believed to be the demolition exercise done in the past.
A month ago, three Congress MLAs Irfan Ansari, Naman Vixal, Konagadi and Rajesh Kachhap were caught with Rs 49 lakh from Kolkata. Congress MLA Kumar Jaimangal alias Anoop Singh had complained against him. Had this plan not been disclosed, the political situation in the state would have been different. It is said that more than a dozen MLAs had made up their mind to separate. They had to form a separate party in the name of Birsa Congress.
It was headed by three MLAs who were caught in Kolkata. In such a situation, the ruling party is feeling that it will be difficult to keep the MLAs united due to the long delay. This is the reason why a strategy has been adopted to avoid the situation of suspicion by opening a front against the Governor. Now it has to be seen how much effect this will have on the Raj Bhavan. In a sense, it is also the litmus test of the ruling party.
Senior JMM MLA Stephen Marandi said that the Governor should disclose the letter of the Election Commission and the action taken on it. Whatever communication has come from the commission, it should be officially disclosed. By not doing so, an environment like horse trading is being created here. The government was formed after the people's anger against the previous government. There was resentment among the people towards the previous government over land and locality, as a result of which the Grand Alliance got the mandate. The people of the opposition are unable to digest the government made in Jharkhandi spirit and the tribal chief minister. He also said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren is not afraid of intimidation. His party was born out of the movement.
