Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao: An 'Imperfectly Perfect Partnership' in Mr & Mrs Mahi Posters

Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao: The makers of Mr & Mrs Mahi have been sharing new posters to increase the excitement level among fans.

Likewise, the lead actors shared three new posters today, which went viral in no time.

Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Zee Studios, the film is set for release on May 31. Directed by Sharan Sharma, it depicts an 'imperfectly perfect relationship' between its leads.

Rajkummar and Janhvi appear to be screaming with joy in the first poster.

Likewise, both the leads share a moment of joy amidst the crowd gathered to watch the game in the second poster.

A side profile of both actors was featured on the third poster. A caption on Janhvi's Instagram post read, “Miliye Mr and Mrs Mahi se, inke liye life is cricket aur cricket is life (cricket and red heart emoticons) cricket se badh ke (after cricket), Mr Mahi only loves his dear wife.”

Karan Johar commented on the post saying, "Love, ALL OUT! Witness a glimpse of an imperfectly perfect partnership that reaches beyond boundaries."

'Mr And Mrs Mahi' is scheduled for release in the second week of May, according to a source close to Bollywood Hungama. An exact release date will be announced soon.

As part of a three-week campaign leading up to the film's premiere, the songs will be unveiled following the trailer release.

Rajkummar plays Mahendra Singh Dhoni in Mr & Mrs Mahi, while Janhvi plays Mahima.

In an interview with Mid-Day, Janhvi had previously revealed that she underwent six months of intensive training in order to adapt to cricket mannerisms.

"It took me six months to get into the skin of the character and sync into the role," she said.

In Mumbai last week, Janhvi promoted Mahi at the Kolkata Knight Riders vs Mumbai Indians Indian Premier League match.

In addition to sharing glimpses of her experience at the match, she also posted selfies taken in the car and captioned them: "Mahi's day out... Mr Mahi missed you there @rajkummar_rao."

Janhvi has 'Devara: Part 1' lined up, starring alongside NTR Jr. She's also scheduled to appear in 'Ulajh,' slated for release later this year.

Currently, Rajkummar is promoting Srikanth, a film based on the life of an industrialist who was blinded as a child.
