Jammu and Kashmir News : Landslide in tunnel under construction, 4 killed many stranded
Officials said that six people were injured in the incident in Ratle area. Kishtwar Deputy Commissioner Devansh Yadav said that the laborers were working on the construction of the approach road near the Ratle power project site and a JCB machine was digging, when a big stone rolled over, trapped the workers.
There is news of the death of a youth in a landslide in Jammu and Kashmir. While many people are still reported to be trapped in this accident. Relief and rescue work is in full swing. The incident took place in an under construction power project tunnel in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is not yet clear from the side of the administration as to what caused this landslide.
"When a landslide occurred in the area, a JCB machine along with its driver and laborers were all buried under the rubble. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Doda district. Relief and rescue operations are underway at the site," officials said. On the other hand, Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir, Devansh Yadav informed that the rescue operation has been completed. A total of four bodies and six injured have been rescued.
