Jaipur Man Out on Bail in Murder Case Slits Throat After ‘Eve-Teasing’ Confrontation
Meanwhile, the police have said he was a native of Alwar and had recently settled in Jhotwara; he had been in judicial custody facing murder charges and was out on bail.
Jaipur Man Out on Bail in Murder Case: A person who was on bail in a murder case was said to have fatally slit his throat with a paper cutter on Friday after being confronted by a group of persons for allegedly teasing a woman here, the police said.
According to Rajendra Singh Shekhawat, SHO of Jhotwara police station, Anand Sharma, around 40 years of age, had been teasing a woman sanitation worker for the last 4-5 days.

The woman's husband confronted the man on Friday and engaged in a fight, while Sharma was being beaten by a mob of locals, the SHO said.
Shekhawat told the media that amidst the ensuing chaos, Sharma had taken out a paper cutter and cut his throat. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but was declared dead, having lost a lot of blood.
The SHO said the deceased was an Alwar native who just shifted to Jhotwara, was in judicial custody in connection with the murder case in Delhi, but was released on bail a few days back.
The police were further investigating the matter after sending the body for post-mortem, he added.
