They’d have to leave Delhi and go to Bangladesh. Ansar made this disclosure during interrogation by Delhi Police. He further added, On the other hand, it has come to the fore in the investigation that when the Shobha Yatra was leaving for the third time, Ansar had an argument with the people involved in the Shobha Yatra, and immediately after this, stone-pelting started on the Shobha Yatra.
The mystery as to how exactly the stone-pelting started is still under investigation. At the time of the Jahangirpuri violence, there were about five thousand people from both sides on the spot. Ansar said that he was apprehensive that the loudspeakers would be removed from the mosque at the time of Azan, as is happening in Maharashtra. He was also afraid that he would have to flee from here.
According to Delhi Police officials, Ansar was not in Jama Masjid when the procession was going on. It has come to the fore in the investigation that he had called someone from the mosque. After this stone-pelting and violence started. Some people were standing above the shrine during the procession. Ansar had reached the procession along with four or five of his companions. After this, he started arguing with the people involved in the Shobha Yatra.
