Ishaan Khatter on Marriage: 'I Believe in Being Monogamous and Getting Married Only Once'

Ishaan Khatter on Marriage: The Indian actor Ishaan Khatter became famous after his iconic performance in the 2018 film ‘Dhadak’ alongside star actress Janhvi Kapoor.

The actor Ishaan Khatter recently talked about his personal life during an interview with The Dirty Magazine.

During the conversation, he revealed that he is currently in a relationship with someone and doesn’t want to reveal who it is. He also talked about his decision to keep his romantic relationships private.

When Ishaan was asked why is he keeping details about his relationship private, he said, “I like guarding my private life, and I’ll keep it that way—so no hard launches.” Reflecting on his past experiences, Ishaan admitted that dating someone in the public eye comes with its own set of challenges. “I’ve been in relationships with actresses—well, actors—and I’ve also dated someone who wasn’t as established as I am. I’m very aware of how that affects the women I’m with.”

He also added how couples can't control when and where they get spotted or photographed, he said, “You can’t control where you’re gonna be seen, where you’re gonna be photographed, or how it’s gonna come out. So, I’m a bit protective.”

He further added, “I do think of having a family and kids. I’m simple like that,” revealing that he wanted a “one and done” way to love and marriage.

He added, “I believe you can have one partner and be monogamous. I’ve had my fair share of experiences in my 20s, but now I feel the need to respect the sacredness of that commitment.”
