IndiGo flights delayed due to lack of crew members, DGCA seeks clarification
Due to this Indigo flights got delayed due to lack of pilots. Actually the second phase of the recruitment drive of Air India was conducted on Saturday.
Due to the shortage of crew members, many IndiGo flights in the country have taken off late. On this, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has taken strong cognizance against IndiGo and sought clarification. DGCA officials have confirmed this.
IndiGo flights are getting delayed across the country due to shortage of crew members. Indigo flight is taking off late. Taking suo motu cognizance of the matter, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has sought clarification from IndiGo. Taking strict cognizance in this matter, DGCA has sought a response from Indigo Airlines and asked what is the reason behind the continuous jerrying in flights for the last few days. Even though no official information has been given about this, but it is being said that due to the lack of crew members, the flight of the planes is getting delayed.
Indigo is the leading airline company of the country which has better home network in India. According to one figure, Indigo operates more than 1600 flights per day inside the country in which a large number of people travel. In fact, Indigo is recognized as a budget airline within the country in which all types of travelers like to travel. Overall, IndiGo is considered as the lifeline of the airlines world, but due to the flight delay of many flights on Saturday, IndiGo passengers have to face many problems.
The Union Aviation Ministry has also shared information regarding the delay in Indigo flights under which only 45 percent of Indigo flights were operated on time on Saturday. At the same time, according to the report of news agency PTI, a large number of crew members had taken sick leave who had gone to join the recruitment drive of Air India.
