Indian Railways: Announcement of Indian Railways, 32 more special trains will run in Diwali-Chhath
These trains will make a total of 771 trips from both the sides, in which about 12 lakh people will be able to travel. At the same time, 62 special trains are being run for the eastern states.
There is good news for the passengers traveling by train in the festive season. Indian Railways has decided to run 32 more special trains in view of the rush in Diwali and Chhath, so that passengers do not face any problem in commuting. In this way, in view of the festival, a total of 211 special trains are being run by the Railways, which will complete 2561 trips. Already 179 special trains are being run. These trains will connect major destinations across the country on railway routes.
Lakhs of people will travel by train from Delhi for the next few days on Diwali and Chhath. In such a situation, in view of the festivals, the Railways has made arrangements for 15-20 lakh additional seats. Also, for the convenience of the passengers, tents have started at the railway stations from Monday. In view of the crowd at the station, the railways has started putting up tents for the convenience of the passengers.
Apart from this, full arrangements for special counters, toilets, seating areas, security will be made for the passengers till Friday. According to the information so far, a total of 70 special trains are being run by the Northern Railway in view of the rush in Diwali and Chhath Puja.
