India Set 272 Runs Target For England, Shami Scores Fine unbeaten half-century

London: Fine unbeaten half-century by Mohammed Shami (not out 56) and sensible batting by Jasprit Bumrah (not out 34) put India in a position to give England a target of 272 runs in possible 60 overs on the fifth day in the second Test match. Both Indian batsmen have added 89 runs for the unbroken ninth-wicket partnership.
India declared their second innings soon after lunch at the score of 298 for 8 and lead by 271 runs. Virat Kohli saw overcast conditions and immediately decided to declare the innings.
