IAS Roshan Jacob started crying after seeing the injured child, reached the hospital to meet the victims of Lakhimpur bus accident
According to the UP Police, the accident took place on the Aira bridge on National Highway 730. A bus going from Dhaurahara to Lucknow collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction. President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi both expressed grief and expressed their condolences to the families of the victims.
At least ten people were killed and around 41 injured in a truck-bus collision in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri on Wednesday. 12 of the injured were admitted to the Trauma Center in Lucknow, while others were admitted to the district hospital. Treatment is going on. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Roshan Jacob can be seen crying while interacting with the families of the injured. In the video, Jacob inquires about the health of a child injured in the accident and while instructing the authorities to ensure his treatment. During this she becomes emotional and starts crying.
