Attention, Winter is here, and in full swing. The prequel series to the Game of Thrones, “House of Dragons” has been released, and created history. According to Film Updates, House of Dragon became the most watched series of 2022, surpassing Euphoria’s Season 2 and the fourth edition of Stranger Things.
According to Bloomberg, HBO’s “House of the Dragon” drew 9.9 million viewers on traditional TV and online on Sunday, making it the best-ever series debut in the network’s history." After these enormous numbers, the prequel's domination of Social Media was inevitable.
House of Dragons follows the Targaryen Family 200 years before the original Game of Thrones, which let’s accept, turned disastrous in its final season. Thinly-veiled sexism and misogyny dominated the Final Season, and one can merely hope that would be eradicated from this prequel.
The series stars Milly Alcock, Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, and Olivia Cooke among others. Fans have been sharing their reaction on Social Media about the initial episode. We know what we're doing tonight post-work.
