Golden boy Neeraj Chopra will be awarded with Param Vishisht Seva Medal

On the occasion of the 73rd Republic Day, the President has announced gallantry awards for a total of 384 army personnel including Neeraj Chopra. This includes 12 Shaurya Chakras, 29 Param Vishisht Seva Medals, 4 Uttam Yudh Seva Medals, 53 Ati Vishisht Seva Medals, 13 Yudh Seva Medals. Along with them, 122 Vishisht Seva Medals will also be given.
For 2021, 51 people will be honored under the Jeevan Raksha Padak Series. In this, 6 people will be given Best Defense Medal, 16 will be given Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padak and 29 will be given Jeevan Raksha Padak. 5 people are being given this award posthumously. This award is given to those people who save the lives of others by putting their lives on the line.
