Gold and Silver Rates Today On September 7: The gold futures contracts in the MCX expiring on October 2024 were up by Rs 68 and were trading at Rs 71,985 per 10 gm while the silver contracts went up Rs 42 and were trading at Rs 84,998 per kg.

Gold and Silver Rates Today On September 7: After an increase in the gold rate the previous day, the gold prices today in India have remained unchanged.
On Saturday, September 7, the 22-carat gold price is valued at Rs 66,830 per 10 grams while the 24-carat gold today stands at Rs 72,900 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, the 22-carat gold per gram today is priced at Rs 6,735 while the 24-carat gold rate is valued at Rs 7,352 per gram.
The silver rate today in India stands at Rs 83,140 per kg, the silver price remains unchanged compared to previous day’s price.

The gold and silver prices are mainly affected by the tax rates, demand and supply, US dollar value and many others.
However, the gold and silver prices dropped significantly in July after the government introduced the Union Budget which reduced the taxes imposed on gold and silver from 15% to 6%.
This reduction in tax rate led to a massive decline of Rs 4,000 in gold and silver rates.
