Gold and Silver Rates Today: On the fifth day after the Union Budget was declared by the Finance Minister, the gold prices in India slightly increased compared to yesterday’s price.

On July 28, the price of 22-carat gold today in India is priced at Rs 63,250 per 10 grams while 24-carat gold costs Rs 69,000 per 10 grams.

Meanwhile, the silver prices per kilogram remain unchanged compared to last day's price, the silver today is priced at Rs 84,500.

However, the price of 22-carat gold today has increased by Rs 250 in the last 24 hours while the price of 24-carat gold today has increased by Rs 270 compared to yesterday’s price.

The recent reduction in the excise duty tax rates that are imposed on gold and silver has led to price fluctuations. The excise duty on gold and silver which was previously 15% has been reduced to 6%.

On July 28, the 22-carat gold price in Delhi is valued at Rs 63,400 per 10 grams however, the 24-carat gold rates today in Delhi cost Rs 69,150 per 10 grams.

The 22-carat gold rates today in Kolkata costs Rs 63,250 per 10 grams, a hike of Rs 250 in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the 24-carat gold rates on July 28 cost Rs 69,000 per 10 grams with an hike of Rs 270 in the last 24 hours.

In Chennai, the gold price today for 22-carat is priced at Rs 64,650 per 10 grams with a massive increase of Rs 500 compared to last day’s gold price. While the 24-carat gold price today is valued at Rs 70,530 per 10 grams which has increased by Rs 550 in the last 24 hours.

In Mumbai, the 22-carat gold rate per 10-gram is valued at Rs 63,250 while the 24-carat gold costs Rs 69,000 per`10 gram
