Gold and Silver Rates Today: On the second day after the Union Budget was announced, gold prices dropped even more in many states across India.

On July 24, the price of 22-carat gold is priced at Rs 6,494 per gram and the 24-carat gold per gram is priced at Rs 7,085. On the other hand, the 24-carat gold per 10 gram is priced at Rs 70,850 meanwhile the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 64,940.

Yesterday, on July 23 when the budget was announced the gold price dropped by Rs 4,000 because of the deduction in customs duty on gold and silver by 15 % to 6 %.

In a statement, Sachin Kothari, Director at Augmont Group said quoted by India Today, “The reduction from 15% to 6% in customs duty is a significant step. While a 5% cut was anticipated, the actual 9% cut is commendable. This decrease allows consumers to purchase gold at a lower rate, potentially increasing physical demand. MCX Gold prices have dropped from Rs 73,000 to Rs 69,000, and could further fall to around Rs 67,000 per 10 grams."

After the Rs 4,000 reduction on the previous day, the silves price per kilogram are priced at Rs 84, 275.

On July 24, the price of 22-carat gold in Delhi is priced at Rs 65,090 per 10 grams and per gram is valued at Rs 6,509. Meanwhile, the 24-carat gold costs Rs 71,000, and per gram costs Rs 7,100.

In Mumbai, the price of 22-carat of gold per 10 grams is Rs 64,940 and per gram is Rs 6,494 while the 24-carat gold is valued at Rs 70,850 per 10 grams and Rs 7,085 per gram respectively.

In Kolkata, the gold price of 22 carat today is priced at Rs 64,940 per 10 grams and per gram is valued at Rs 6,494 however, the 24-carat gold price is estimated at Rs 70,850 and per gram costs Rs 7,085.

The price of 22-carat gold per 10 grams in Chennai is valued at Rs 65,490 and per gram costs Rs 6,549. The 24-carat gold price in Chennai today is valued at Rs 71,450 however, per gram price is evaluated at Rs 7,145.
