NCRTC Extends Namo Bharat Train Timings By 2 Hours in the Evening
Ghaziabad Metro: The Namo Bharat Train that runs from which used to run from 6 am to 8 pm is now extended by 2 hours to 10 pm by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).
On Monday morning an official post was made by the NCRTC in its X account, the post said, “The new operating hours for Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor will be 6 AM to 10 PM from Monday to Saturday, and 8 AM to 10 PM on Sundays, making travel more convenient, especially for those who finish work late.”
Thus the step taken by the NCRTC will benefit many passengers who depend on trains to reach their destination. However, it will also provide help to those passengers who return home late from work.
The Namo Bharat Train runs from Sahibabad to Modinagar (North) and in between it covers 6 stations including Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, Duhai Depot, Muradnagar, and Modinagar (South).
According to the Indian Express, as of January 2024, an estimated 2,900 passengers use the Namo Bharat train daily.

The Namo Bharat train upcoming project will connect Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut which is still in construction. According to the report, these trains will go up to 180 km/h.
