State Congress Committee Jammu and Kashmir has strongly condemned the killing of famous singer Sidhu Musewala in Punjab. The party has blamed the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab for this.
Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters located at Shaheedi Chowk in the city, State Congress Committee Jammu and Kashmir President Ghulam Ahmed Mir said on the completion of 8 years of the Modi government that the government has failed to control unemployment and inflation in the country. During these years, neither the central government was able to control inflation nor remove unemployment. He said that only vegetable gardens are being shown to the youth. Nothing is being done at the ground level.
Speaking on the killing of Sidhu Musewala, GA Mir said that the way Congress leader and Punjabi singer was shot dead in Punjab yesterday, it is clear that the situation in Punjab is deteriorating day by day. For this the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab is completely responsible. He also termed the decision to remove Moosewala's security as unfair. He said that today the country would not have lost a famous and promising Punjabi singer if the security given to Moosewala had not been removed.
