Firing at the BSF headquarters in Amritsar , 5 killed

A Bad news has come from the Border Security Force (BSF) headquarters here on Sunday morning. A jawan of BSF 144th Battalion opened fire and killed 5 other jawans. After the incident, the jawan shot himself too. He has been brought to the hospital in critical condition. It is alleged that more duty was being taken from the jawan. His identity is being told as Sutappa of Maharashtra. It is being told that three more jawans have also been injured in the incident.

It has been told that Sutappa was being taken on duty continuously for the last few days. This made him very upset. He had an argument with a senior BSF officer on Saturday, but no relief was found. Sutappa was on duty. In anger, he started firing with his rifle.

Sutappa shot himself after the incident. As soon as the police and BSF came to know about the incident, the top officials of the police and BSF reached the spot. The injured have been immediately admitted to a private hospital. The police have started preparations to take possession of the bodies for post-mortem and the families of the injured are being informed.
