Grok 3 is an AI chatbot that Musk announced is going to somehow surpass anything available today.
Elon Musk Announces xAI’s ‘Scary Smart’: Bloomberg cites Musk claiming that his Grok 3 AI chatbot will supposedly become a model that overcomes everything else released until now.
"Sometimes I think Grok 3 is pretty much freakishly smart," he said while appearing via video at the World Government Summit Dubai on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

The forthcoming artificial intelligence model, trained essentially on synthetic data, evaluates its decisions, going from one process to the other, in order to achieve logical consistency.
He said that "xAI is the last bits of polishing Grok 3 and probably it gets launched in about a week or two so pretty soon" and added that he doesn't want to "rush" with its launch.
At this juncture, Musk has taken aim toward rival OpenAI for which he led a consortium of investors to make an unsolicited bid to the value of $97.4 billion for its purchase.

"Musk, who was a partner in this OpenAI, said, 'OpenAI is supposed to be open-source; non-profit; and now they change it to closed for maximum profit AI. The money, man, that's next level.'"
Founded as a non-profit in 2015 by Musk along with the CEO of OpenAI, Sam Altman, he left this venture long before ChatGPT hit the headlines.
Musk is now suing the company after Altman has moved it from a non-profit to a for-profit model to attract more funding from investors.
Altman, however, denied Musk's proposal and said it was just a ploy to "slow us down."
