New Delhi- A yellow haze enveloped DELHI today as strong dust raising winds gusting up to 40 km per hour swept the city. The meteorology department said . dusty weather prevailed in national capital for most of the day.
The city recorded a maximum if 37.9 degree Celsius on Tuesday six notches above the norm for this time of the year .
The minimum temperature settled at 19 degree Celsius.
On Monday Delhi reeled under a ‘sever’ heat wave as the maximum temperature shot up up to 40.1 degree Celsius making it hottest day in march in 76 years , the IMD had said
The city had recorded maximum of 40.5 degree Celsius on march 31 ,1945 and 39.6 degree Celsius on march 29,1973, according ti IMD data .
The air quality in the Delhi was recorded the poor category.
The sky become hazy the storms coming and dust coming on face is which hazard for the skin as well as for eyes. The weather was breezy enough to feel good .
