Double Olympic Medalist PV Sindhu To Open An Academy In Visakhapatnam, Offer Prayers At Tirumala
On Friday, Sindhu visited Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam to offer prayers and expressed her happiness over seeking blessings of Venkateswara Swamy and promised to come every year to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.
New Delhi: The double Olympic medalist Badminton player of India PV Sindhu is all set to open a Sports Academy in Visakhapatnam, the port city of Andhra Pradesh. She said that her aim is to encourage Youth towards sports so that we can identify talented people as well as we can nurture their talent and make them good sportsperson.
On Friday, Sindhu visited Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam to offer prayers and expressed her happiness over seeking blessings of Venkateswara Swamy and promised to come every year to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.
PV Sindhu has two Olympic medals in her bag, A Silver won in Rio 2016 and a Bronze medal in Tokyo 2020. She is the only Women athlete of India who got medals in two back-to-back Olympics. She said, “I have come to Tirumala after the Tokyo Olympics and sought blessings from the Lord to perform well in the Upcoming Badminton tournaments.”
