Digital University will open in the country

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced the formation of a digital university in the country in the Budget 2022. Announcing the digital university, Sitharaman said that it will be built on the basis of hub and spoke model. Referring to the impact of education in the era of Corona epidemic, she announced a digital university to be open soon.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the creation of a digital university to provide world class education to students across the country from the comfort of their homes.The Finance Minister said that the Digital University will be established on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) format, which will work on Hub and Spoke Model Network.

The Finance Minister said that education will be made available in different languages ​​of the country through digital universities. Through the digital university, world class education will be provided to the students on the standards of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).She said that the digital university would be built in collaboration with the top central universities of the country.

A digital university is a university that provides a variety of courses and degree education completely online to the students. The digital university will work closely with other central universities in the country to provide the necessary digital infrastructure and training. The Finance Minister has not yet clarified what kind of courses will be taught in the digital university but she mentioned that it will be open soon.
